For some reason I was thinking the Bears would pick him up.
I think Jordan Howard will get drafted whenever he leaves. I still count him. I also think Gerald Everett is a freak and could put together some impressive years at South Alabama. He might get drafted too.

Staples has got time to put good seasons together at Louisville.

And I hope the NEXT UAB FB player is presently in high school somewhere, and his UAB FBHC is on staff today.
The next UAB football player drafted was Kennard Backman was just drafted by the packers at 213
I'm proud of both Kennard and JJ!
Actually the next UAB NFL draftee may be playing elsewhere next year, but could be back at UAB the year after that.

Not trying to be negative, just a question: Is anyone else surprised Jimmy Jean signed a deal? I didn't see that coming. I'm happy for him though.
The Patriots really like versatile defensive players. Jean fits the bill.
