The Toledo Walleye face off against Fort Wayne tonight for game 1 of the ECHL second round. I have a lot of fun at these games and wish the Rockets had a D1 team. Its been an awesome season! #ourFishOurFight #TTOWNhockey are the slogans being used this post season. I dont mind em... Better than #ToledoTough. Anyways.... Anyone else been over the Huntington Center this season?
PhotoDan and I are going on Saturday. It's astounding how much better this team is over last years team. The coaching change and dropping the Blackhawks affiliation has really helped. Nothing wrong with the Chicago system, but having only one affiliation gives the Walleye more flexibility with their roster.
Last time it will happen. Fort Wayne moving to western conference next year. Why oh why

The west is all relatively new teams and Fort Wayne will bring the conference name recognition and a fan base. Btw Toledo has dominated the first two games 4-1, and 5-2. Tuesday and Thursday night in FW on BCSN for the sweep! Toledo is third in the ECHL in attendance with over 5k per game. They've already played 6 playoff games at home in 2015.
ive been to 4 of the 5 home playoff games so far. so much fun. if they win tuesday, i will be going to fort wayne on thursday.
also, sucks that fort wayne, cincy, and indy are all moving to the western conference, but the new schedule just came out and a majority of our crossover games are against those teams.

We played Kzoo and Cincy something like 13 times a piece last season hah?
Anyways. I'm thinking about the trip as well! I'll only go if it's a sweep opportunity.

I wanted to go to all the games i could in ft wayne, but i got scheduled to umpire tomorrow and thursday....but if we have a chance to clinch i will do whatever it takes to get off for the game.
