First the task Force Meeting, now this. Bartow Arena is going to have lots of blood splatters.
One of the reasons Bartow could never draw events like this is UAB's refusal to let the general public buy beer/alcohol. (Can't imagine going to a boxing match and not being able to have a beer.)
I wonder if they are going to waive that rule for this fight?
I seem to remember attending a boxing match in Bartow a long time ago. Has one ever been held there? It might have been at the BJCC and I am misremembering.
i saw Joe Hipp v David Bey also George Foreman in a exhibition match at Boutwell around 1990...not sure about a match at Bartow
