We have consistently recruited young men who couldn't shoot, but who were athletic and were fairly good defensive players. Coach Beard says he recruits shooters first, because it's easier to teach a shooter to play defense then teach someone who can't shoot to shoot. That should be a real change.

It is going to be interesting to see who stays & how they adapt to a "new" philosophy. Learning how to adapt will be a skill they can use throughout life.
