The other one has so many videos it's taking forever to load. Good job!

Today's offering shows that church organs are also rock and roll instruments. Eddie and the Hot Rods hit the top of the UK charts in 1977, and the Sex Pistols were still opening for them.

I had completely forgotten about UK. Thanks. Bill Bruford was great.

Not my cuppa, but you're right, I would never have heard that. Thanks.

Awesome band, much like Quo they are vastly under appreciated. Wish they'd have kept Ron Wood, though.

@ least they kept the other ronnie who was an underrated song writer.

and of course without that transition we might not have gotten this:

Loved Humble Pie, what a freakin' band. To point out how much all these bands borrowed from one another, here's Status Quo from the same year. A little more upbeat, but American blues was the water these bands were all drinking.

In 1985, Live Aid was the first round-the-clock rock concert broadcast all over the world. What band was given the honor of starting the whole show, when everybody in the world was watching? Status Quo. Recordings of that moment exist, but they aren't very good. This is a different concert of them singing the song that opened Live Aid, Don't Waste My Time.

Half of this band went on to help Dave Grohl form Foo Fighters.
