playing in the Coach Beard's system? You realize that Mouzy was the only walk on to ever receive a scholarship in Steve's 12 years. And it took him two years to earn one. We couldn't have done much worse with some walk ons in the past then the players we signed who were complete busts.
Is there potential we're missing out on. Obviously you can't always tell.
Think of Scottie Pippen, who was a late bloomer, who I believe was a walk on at UCA. He was originally the student manager if I recall. Of course he went from 6'1 to 6'8 or 9 in one year. A coach has to have a little luck sometimes. Just think if Ted Crass had grown 12 inches his first season as Student Manager. Sad that Steve just didn't have that kind of luck.
