I don't know the actual reason, but I can tell you that from an academic perspective, the last week of classes is the worst possible week to have a midweek game. I don't know if that was a consideration in this year's scheduling, but if it was, I salute the result.

Yes, the final week of classes (with term papers due), coupled with a road trip this weekend, with travel on Thursday. I believe this is the first time The OG has skipped the mid-week game, but a great decision. Wasn't it just last year that a couple of our guys (Skyler Ewing for one, but I don't remember the other) missed the Friday night road series opener because they had to get a term paper in, and it was not finished by the time the team left to the airport?

It doesn't involve our Owls, but at 6:30 PM tonight (Thursday) on ESPNU the Texas Aggies take on the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge. It's #1 vs #2!

ESPN moved the game to ESPN2 online. Nevertheless, an exciting game. LSU wins with a run in the bottom of the 9th, 4-3.

What provider do you use? It was on ESPN2 on my DISH Network service.
I just wish DISH would add Root Sports so I could see the Astros, Rockets, etc.

Ditto for Time-Warner in Austin...
