Meh
Could be a decent pickup. Had 3 double doubles as a freshman and multiple double digit scoring games. He also had double digit rebounds in 5 games. Not saying he's gonna light the world on fire, but could give some depth to a front line that is looking thin in a couple years.
9 points, 6 boards a game as a Frosh doesn't sound too bad. It'd be nice to have a guy that can back up Clark.

Meh

LOL

Jarr has spoken ladies and gentlemen....
I will take any Forward or center for when Ellis and Deberry are gone after next year. His numbers are not that exciting, especially 2 point jumpers and free throw land, but he was a freshman last year and will have a year to sit out and develop because of transfer rules. I remain optimistic.
I think one of the overlooked advantages of someone like him coming in is - who currently will play against Gary Clark in practice?

As far as the FG%, though it wasn't great - he was a freshman, and he still had the highest FG% on his team amongst regular players.

Looks like a solid backup to my man GC
I really have no opinion on this. Nothing on his basketball resume really indicates he'll be a meaningful contributor at UC, but nothing on his resume really indicates he can't be a nice role player either. I doubt he's much more than a role player if he transfers here. If the coaches end up think he's worth a scholarship then good and we'll see what happens.

that sounds like an opinion. i would take kareem johnson version two in a heartbeat
I would put this guy pretty far down the list of guys we are recruiting right now. But who we are able to land is another story.
A 6'7 PF with limited offensive skills. Seems like UC just keeps recycling the same type of player over and over. At some point they need to get some real legit difference makers in here.

Maybe I should have said "I don't feel strongly either way about this."

39% from 3 in his 2 years with games of 26 @ Wake, 28 @ ECU, and 30 @ South Carolina this past season. I'll take it.

I thought Mick doesn't recruit white players?
A guard that can score from outside, I like a lot.

I just hope at 5'-10" his defense is good. I imagine it could be if he is willing to put the needed effort into it.

Maybe Mick is trying something different?

Would love to get this guy. Not the typical type of player we are accusted to seeing at UC. Not because he is white, but being able to shoot so well.
