They aren't hiring agents yet, but it would seem that this could be a possible bad turn in the McClain recruitment. I thought I remember seeing that he was very high on Georgetown at one point, would suck to have them swoop in and yank him at the last second.

Just read through some of his bio on Rivals, he had Georgetown at the top at one point (he is DC native) and was recruited for over a year by their current staff. Here is hoping that Mick has built such a strong relationship that it doesn't matter if they make a push, or that at least Hibbert decides to stay in school after testing the waters.
Green probably doesn't need another year, he could go right into the NBA and be a solid role player. Hibbert on the other hand could use another year, but all players like him do...here's to hoping that they stay.

not sure that he would jump to different school this late in game. secondly, there would be no official word on them until late this spring, right?....may/june?

also saw on bcn a hartford blog that said uconn had nothing (including visits) imminent for last scholarship this year and were focusing now on 2008.

I am not sure that listening to a home town school like Georgetown who you had at the top of your list at one point would be considered "jumping to another school", this is why I hate "done deal" type talk.

With McClain taking as long as he has, I'm thinking that this is not some new surprise development that he didn't account for.... but hey, maybe that's just me.
Hibbert is as raw as the steak I had for dinner last night, and like that steak he will slowly bleed in the NBA until he lacks the taste that anyone wants.. Unless he actually gets a coach who teaches him how to bowx out PROPERLY, and run up and down the floor.. he still plays way too dirty and unorthodox to be a main contributor in the NBA..
I'm sure JT III was planning for this contigency and would have turned up the heat on McClain long before this came to the table. My guess is Georgetown has other plans at this point.
