I heard Dayton Daily News is reporting that Oden, Conley and Cook are all likely to declare for NBA draft. Lose Lewis to graduation (well, at least he has exhausted eligibility).
That would be devastating to OSU. I'm sure they expect Oden to leave but if Conley and Cook come back they'll still be great. If those two leave they may miss the tournament next season.

Not with the recruits they've got coming in they won't.

Also heard if one goes, they are all going.

Very shocked about Cook. Conley and Cook probably need a couple more years. Oden needs another year but will earn big bucks regardless so he might as well take it now. Will Conley get drafted? I think he raised his stock, but not sure how highly regarded he is? Cook came off the bench........what's up with him possibly declaring?

I hate to see it for the kids if they're not ready, but if they are.......I'd love to see OSU take a hit.

Why does Oden need another year? He's plenty ready to be selected either #1 or #2...take the money and run!

Someone should tell them to stop going to class. 02-13-banana
I think Oden is certain to go given where he'll be drafted. I think Conley may test the waters to see where he'd go, but could go too. I think Cook would be making a colossal mistake. But maybe he just wants to test the waters and is almost certain to return. If Conley and Oden leave though, and with the seniors they lose, OSU will be in a similar position to last year, except maybe not the same level of incoming talent as Oden and Conley. Koufos doesn't look nearly as good as Oden. And I don't think they have a PG the caliber of Conley coming in?

point guards and big men are always in demand. i have heard conley could be lottery pick and if so, he should go. i tell you what, you cant tell me there is any other freshman who is as mentally prepared to handle the nba than conley....dad was an international track star....conley seems to have great demeanor.

word on cook is family $$$$ needs. i thought the signing bonu$ to O$U would have covered that....oh well.
Pretty much agree about Oden. Whether or not he's actually ready, he'll go. I compare it to the Demarr Johnson situation. Just about all of us didn't think he was ready, and we were right. But he still managed to go lotto and earn a good paycheck for being (at least initially) a practice player. We were pissed, but really couldn't argue with his move.

And, as .50 says, big men are all the more in demand.
Oden was ready to go last year and make an impact in the NBA. Conley can play at the next level now, Cook should probably stay. This comes from a toesue hater.
Cook didn't even get on the court much at the end of the season for OSU. He would be making a big mistake if he left.
Conley is ready, Cook would be making a big mistake.
Cook jacks up a shot every time he touches it and he doesn't play defense so he at least acts the part.
If it weren't for Conley-not Oden, O$U would not have been playing in the Natl Champ game. He carried them throughout the tourney.

Cook has no business declaring, but it wouldn't upset me one bit if he did. I say go for it!

Ligthy looks NBA ready too ;-)
Doesn't matter if they are ready or not.

Cook is gone.
Oden wants to stay, but his mom wants him to go.
Conley too close to call.

It ain't the kids that they are counting on to make a big
mistake, it's the team that chooses them. And god knows
there are enough idiotic NBA execs to make the mistakes.

I can't see Cook going in the first round.

I think Conley is one of those players that are really good in college but could become great at the next level. The kid is just sick one on one. Fun to watch.

Yeah, I admit. I like Conley. I liked watching him play. Someone will probably draft him. He's young and has huge potential.

The NBA isn't what it was 10-20 years ago. There's alot more defense going on than you give credit for. Back in the 70's-80's nearly every NBA game ended with each team scoring 100+ points. Now less than a third score that many.

Not only is Conley ready for the NBA, he may be the best PG in the draft.
who gives a crap?
