should have fired Gregory and hired Bobby Hurley.

Missed the window, IMO. Hurley could be a coaching star.
Either the money isn't there, or the AD doesn't have the balls, or, most likely, a combination of both.

Dick's Sporting Goods had good prices on basketballs [LINK]
Or they could just hire his brother next spring.
Go big...hire Coach K!

They still probably can. Arizona State isn't a destination basketball school. Hurley could do well there and still be hired away 2 years down the road. Of course by then GT might have to open up the pocket book which is hard to do when you're paying 2 former basketball coaches.

It was your former AD who offered Hewitt the gold-platinum-unobtanium parachute that caused most of this mess.

GT should hire Donovan.

Better hope Seton Hall doesn't get him first.
I thought GT gave up hoops when Cremins left.
Former Dukies don't want to coach against K in the ACC.

For all intents & purposes, they did.

GT made it to the championship game under Hewitt, which Cremins never did.

Most people from outside the southeast think of GT as a basketball school due to the Cremins era. Even in ATL, the transplants think the same.

I'm glad GT football got alot of exposure last year as it made people realize that there is another good program in the state of Georgia other than the dwags.

Sure, they may not want to, but they would.
So who is GT looking at??? I haven't seen a list or is there someone already on board. Also why are they taking so long if the position is still open???

Gregory wasn't fired, despite claims by Rivals he was. The position, for another year at least, isn't open.

Based on comments I have heard from the AD, I suspect he wants the Hewitt buyout completely gone before he makes the next hire. which means at least 2 more seasons.

Might not even be students left in McCamish by then.

The AD might not be employed by then if this is how he runs things.
