Well, if he's good enough for the National Association of Basketball Coaches, he's good enough for me! Please tell me we aren't going to hire someone with ZERO experience in college coaching over someone who was just named Coach Of The Year by his college coaching peers!

Huge! All of Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, and schools also in South Dakota, Nebraska, and UA-Ft. Smith in Arkansas.
That's only about 10% of the states in the United States. I want a national coach of the year.....I'm just kidding. That's a very nice honor. Sounds like a pretty impressive guy.

My point is that the last time big money people forced a coach on our AD it was an unmitigated disaster. Rick Melo was forced to hire Sidney Moncreif over his better judgment, and we all know how that went. I really hope Chasse can make the decision based on college basketball coaching talent and doesn't bow to pressure from people who really don't care about the program and just want to take care of their ex-hog friend.
