Hearing presser Wednesday at 9 am, but that is likely tentative at this point. Wonder if we'll hear anyone "withdraw" their name from consideration in the next 24 hours. Then we'll know a decision has been made.

Saw you talking to Chasse when you arrived at the baseball lunch. My guess is that he is still playing his cards close to the vest and you didn't find out much. Am I right or wrong on that?

Also, did you get to visit with Dennis White? He was there until shortly before Coach Curry started speaking.

No, I got nothing from Chasse, which is as it should be. Did get tidbits from other folks, but all said that Chasse hasn't revealed his choice (I assume he has made a choice) to anybody. Ya, I saw Dennis but didn't get a chance to speak with him. Folks said he would love to come back as an assistant. Always liked him.

He applied for the HC job but didn't make the cut. He did say that if Joe K got the job he would love to return to LR as an assistant. He was on the staff that recruited the best team Little Rock ever had- Derek Fisher, Malik Dixon, Montrell Dobbins, and Joe Stevens!

Loved Dennis. One of my all time favorites. Would love to see him back here as an assistant. If I recall, he was from the Chicago area, and might have been the one who recruited Malik Dixon.

He's currently a high school coach in Chicago.

Last I heard from him he was preaching with his wife's father. Obviously that changed somewhere along the way.

Don't know if this is current, but if he's coaching high school ball, it may not be, or he's doing both.

All I know is that he told me today that he was coaching high school basketball in Chicago.

Would have enjoyed seeing Dennis. I hope he's having success coaching. Would love to have him back here as an assistant. I had no idea he applied for the HC job her. Real surprise. I'd love to know who the other applicants were.

I think someone posted that they had heard that Wes Flannigan and Daniyal Robinson had both applied also and didn't make the final five.
