DJ would have been part of the class as of NLI day in Feb. but there were some academic issues to clear-up first and now that those are resolved it looks like the UT coaches are only too happy to hold/offer the one remaining 2015 scholarship for DJ. He stayed the course and he has come through and so has UT.

DJ was a QB up through his Jr. season but last year was let loose at WR and he had over 30 catches for over 1000 yards making that a whopping over 30 YPC. DJ gives UT another deep ball threat in the 2015 class to go along with Mckinley-Lewis and Landry. Well done staff!

UT continues to mine the rare unearthed gem players so often over-looked by other schools.

I'm surprised I thought he might end up at USF.

He just passed to summer classes to become academically eligible so he will be listed on next roster revision!! His status was still up in the air until he passed (two A's by the way) his two required classes.

DJ will be a nice deep ball threat for UT. He averaged almost 30 YPC his senior year!
