I was spoiled by Dana and Larry. Cal just reinforced those feelings.

Interestingly, the same "know-nothings" who disparage Pastner had an earlier lineage who said Larry couldn't coach; Larry was eligible for 10 NCAAs (ineligible his first year) and made the tourney 9 times

Larry and Pastner also shared another trait: HONESTY

That doesn't matter to many on these boards

The only "Larry" that has anything in common with Josh is Larry Porter.

Grasping for straws ended in the late 80s...for most of us anyway.

Well, this thread illustrates that grasping for straws is alive and well.

Did they build the room around the elephant?

Serious question. Which came first? The elephant or the room?

I agree with the assessment I've seen several posters make:, if Paz has a good year he'll take another job; if Paz has a bad year he'll be fired. Either way this is likely his last season here.

Whether next season is good or bad losing Shaq, Burrell, Kedren, and likely Nichols = lean times ahead for Tiger basketball. From a purely state of the program perspective making a coaching change this year would have been much better.

As it is I predict whoever the new coach is will have a three year rebuilding project on his hands.

I would agree with that...
Ok PTCD sufferers.

Practice you breathing techniques, listen to some soothing music, maybe go for a walk. Stay away from bars and tv.

Gonna be a tough ride for you guys today.
