15/16 season:

Seniors (5 scholarships): Bacote, Biberaj (NS), Douglas, Freeman, Palmore, Shaw (NS), Pervier

Juniors (4 scholarships): Baker, Clark, Mosley, Taylor

Sophs (0 scholarships): Br. Stith (NS), Vassor (NS)

Freshman (3 scholarships): Talley, Carver, Caver

Sitting out: BJ Stith

Am I missing anyone? If not, that leaves us with 12 awarded scholarships for next season. Does he award one to Biberaj? One of the Stiths? Hold out for another JUCO?

If Clark and/or Palmore decide to move on (I can't imagine any other scholarship player would) then there's 2 available.

I would think the elder Stith kid would pick up a scholly assuming no one else transfers in. No?
I bet its the later. I have to think we're still looking at JUCO's. maybe another transfer too. I don't see Palmore leaving. he'll still get PT just not as a starter and he might not want to sit out a year either...Clark on the other hand I don't see where he'd get minutes so he wouldn't surprise me as a transfer.
Clark won't go anywhere. He used his RS last year.

Yes, but the new NCAA rule is that in place of immediate eligibility for hardships, there's an extra year built in. If he chooses, he could go that route.

Or go down a level.

I think you're missing Vassor, the Randolph-Macon transfer walk-on.

Fixed. He's a non-schollie junior (from Hampden-Sydney).

Ahh. Got my D3s mixed up.
16/17 is looking pretty solid too. Potentially:

Baker SR
Carver SO (RS FR?)
Caver SO
Clark RS SR
Mosley RS SR
Pervier SR (Hopefully)
BJ Stith RS SO
Brandan Stith RS JR
Talley RS SO
Taylor SR
Vassor SR

Kimani Jackson/Kyle Alexander ?
2016-17 is a Sweet 16 roster [ROCKET]
Idk if anyone is in agreement but I'd like biberaj to get a scholarship.
Someone needs to check the clock on this board.

That last post is showing, to me at least, as being posted at 12:41. My phone is saying 12:34, my computer 12:32.

it has always been a little off to me
We certainly had an NCAA caliber roster this year and we could be improved next year and even better the year after. Wow.

Thinking about the future of ODU Basketball is giving me a Stithy.
I'm trying to work out some Dark Lord of the Stith thing...

ODU Basketball marketing - Get on it!
I think there is another 6-7 walkon in play. Maybe just hearsay.

Think we're saving the schoolie in case something drops in our lap, this is likely to happen look at Arledge and Painter. Still need a big, HS or Juco. Things are coming together.

It amazes me how JJ gets these quality kids to walk on, talk about recruiting.

Vassor is in the same class as Stith. He will be a redshirt soph next year

What exactly is his hardship? From my understanding the rule was changed so that students would stop claiming "hardships" just to transfer and play. Unless there is a serious family illness or Clark has to take care of his family, he has no chance of getting the new waiver
