Just caught wind that CUSA is in talks about yet another bowl affiliation. This time in Texas. Supposedly in the Austin/San Antonio area. Any of you UTSA fans hearing anything down there? I had heard CUSA had been working toward an "eastern" based bowl affiliation so this must be something different.
Austin was supposed to file today. AAC-CUSA at DRK.
Even 25-30K would look like a tiny crowd in that stadium.

We had 30K+ in the Cotton Bowl last year and it was a drop in the bucket. Still a great time. I would love to play a game in DKR without having to deal with tea sippers. Playing in Austin would be awesome!!

Sorry to sound stupid, but what is "DRK"?

Got it. Thanks.
So it appears to be two more for CUSA this year? Tucson against MWC and in Austin against the American.

That will be 9 bowls for the AAC and 8 for C-USA. Wow.

Proposed new bowls: Austin (AAC vs. C-USA), Tucson (MWC vs. C-USA), Orlando (AAC vs. SB), Little Rock (AAC vs. SB)
I like it!! We would have a shot to play UH, SMU, Tulane or another western school in TX!

Good for the western schools but still waiting on that rumored eastern bowl. Im hoping its in Charlotte.
Bowls seem a little lopsided at this point, but you do have two in FLA and one in the Bahamas.
Is it me or is the American lining up to play to many crappy Sunbelts teams? In Orlando? Seriously? That makes no sense at all. Especially considering the Sunbelt doesnt have any schools in Florida anymore. Weird if you ask me. The last thing I would want to do is play a Sunbelt team.
