to hire Joe we would hear something pretty soon. He's still in the building as far as I know. Not sure if, or when, Chasse is going to Indianapolis. If he is going he'll either be leaving on Friday or early Saturday morning. If he is choosing between Joe and Darrell, this should be done by Thursday. If he leaves town, and we haven't heard anything, I assume he is looking elsewhere and will interview some folks in Indy. I think his being deliberate in making a decision is a good thing. Is amazing how quick some of the other teams of hired coaches. Barnes barely had time to absorb being fired by Texas, by the time he signed on with Tennessee.
If you guys haven't hired Kleine yet, you're not going too. Been two weeks.
I am with chief this does not look good for joe

If it's Joe (or maybe Darrell) we should know tomorrow or Friday at the latest. Otherwise, it would suggest to me that Chasse will go to Indy to do some interviews.

Turns out Barnes was negotiating with Tennessee before he was even fired at Texas!

Your sign would be downright funny if it wasn't sadly based on the reality that our fine legislature has imposed on the state.

Rock City Times (Satirical news source for Arkansas) replaced half their pages with this image. I shamelessly stole it from them.
Has the sports world evermore changed. I once was big admirer of Bruce Jenner the World Champion in the Decathlon. Now, after all these years he has decided to be a woman. Read where he met with his 2 sons to explain it all. I'm sure they were moved and proud of their Dad. Now we have gay people wanting to play pro football. What's next? I do have a question. Anyone know if there are gay, lesbian etc people being considered for the Trojan job? Better check that out before a hire is made. Could there be legal problems there?

You say: "Now we have gay people wanting to play pro football. What's next?"

I am sure when Branch Rickey put Jackie Robinson on the Brooklyn Dodgers the same type of question was asked about black people (not the word they would have used) wanting the play baseball in the Major Leagues.

"Some of my best friends are gay". Actually, it's not just a cliché in this case. I don't ask them what they do in their bedrooms and they don't ask me either. Seems to work out fine for everybody.
