I'm already pumped up for this rematch. All excuses be damned, we lost AT HOME to the Fighting Gobblers. I always tip my hat when it is deserved and although i refuse to watch that replay i would like to extend a rather late congrats. On to Sep 7, 2015. What a better way to start the year. In all likelihood it'll be a night game and Blackksburg will be LOUD. Meyer probably doesnt have to worry too much about complacency because the lone team that beat you is sitting there. Beamer doesnt need any tricks to fire up the troops. I'm super amped for this one and hope that VPI can keep it within 40 points... Cause we want our revenge.

PS excellent troll t shirts after we won the title.
A few things...

I went to the game in Columbus this year. It was a lot of fun obviously.

It will be a night game given that it's on Labor Day night.

The t-shirts were cancelled because of perceived copyright infringements. They tried changing wording several times but nothing would pass.

Good luck! I hope we find a way to win again!

Go Hokies!
Hopefully no one gets hurt during practice, so both teams will be at full strength. Should be the football version of WAR!

Only time I've ever been to Blacksburg was 2003 VT v Miami right before they joined the ACC. The governor showed up and everything. Awesome atmosphere. Best of luck but methinks Urban will run up the score.

I'm hoping for more of the Wisconsin variety than a war.

Those were the days. I used to consider selling my Miami tickets to buy a big screen to watch the game on. Always used my ticket though. Now you can't resell a ticket for face value.

I think a few things have hurt VT of late. 1 Spread offenses (their defenses don't seem ass dominant), 2. The Tidewater area isn't VTs little secret anymore. 3 and most important IMO the ACC is better top to bottom than the Big East ever was. FSU and Clemson are elite IMO, Duke (seriously when did that happen), Carolina and Virginia are getting serious, UL, Miami & GT are always dangerous. And the rest can jump up and bite you from time to time.
The Big East had Miami, and an occasionally rough West Virginia team. There were bright spots in Pitt and Cause but nothing sustained IMO.
