or Software Engineering as an undegraduate degree at UAB? I was looking for my son who would be entering college in a couple of years...
what do you mean? the computer science department is still there. There is also electrical and computer engineering but I don't ever remember there being a specific "software engineering" program.

Right, Computer and Information Sciences used to be part of the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics which eventually was absorbed into the College of Arts and Sciences. Electrical and Computer Engineering is part of the School of Engineering.
This is actually a bit of a sore spot for the Computer Science students. At least while I was in Engineering, we'd have a CS student show up to a meeting asking why the Engineering Honor Society (τβπ) didn't include CS. The answer was always that the national organization doesn't include CS students (and apparently the national CS honor society has been lobbying at the national level for inclusion in τβπ).

Congrats on having a child picking a great field to work in!
NS&M won 3rd place in the homecoming building department & next thing you knew they were combined into CAS.

Couldn't handle our homecoming decoration success.

This has nothing to do with losing football. You are losing your touch. And in doing so, not annoying the "who cares , football is gone crowd". I need you back on your game Blazerman.
We never won anything in Homecoming when we only had basketball?
