New Stadium is coming
Its not much but they would not have put this out if things were not rolling with the stadium and plan to make a major announcement soon.....
Go ODU!
A floating stadium?
Whatever it is, I will be there for the Grand Opening party/game!
I <3 ODU!
Haha, till I saw the script in the water I thought it might be a trailer for "Anaconda4."
I'm sure our new stadium will be awesome, and I hope this is a sign of more tangible announcements soon.

Nice teaser.
Excellent tease!! I've got goose bumps. come on and ANNOUNCE something!!
That video has a "What Lies Beneath" vibe to it. Nevertheless I just squealed in excitement.
wow.....thanks for getting me excited for nothing.
OMG, we are building it underwater.
Actually, it's already done... you just can't see it. Tough for marketing, but it does cut down on sun glare.
ODU has been watching to much Avengers lately. We'll get a hover stadium

Since it
is just a football stadium, forward movement will not be needed, so cost can be saved by eliminating the forward propulsion system, making it more efficient than this beast.

We may eventually HAVE to boat gate. Do like Venice and have bladders of air that keep the buildings afloat.

Why not? We've already got bladders of beer that keep the fans afloat.
I keep wondering how many piles they are going to have to sink into the ground to make the stadium safe and stable along the mushy water front. I was at ODU when they did the first expansion of the library and they must have put hundreds of piles into the ground to support the building. Imagine what will be needed for the structural integrity of the stadium with all us crazies stomping around in it.
