He's not explicitly mentioned, although I had seen chatter that Wes had called an emergency meeting today.

I'm thrilled the NAS Board at long last figured out what has really been going on and took this action. At the same time, I am embarrassed for them to have been taken by Watts for fools for this long.
I have been very critical for the NAS for not acting sooner... But today was a good day to drop the bomb. From Scarbinsky's article, Finebaum Show, Whitmire's Piece, Connection of PR firm to UA BOT article, to the NAS Vote... It has been a bad day for Team Watts!

I think the Chancellor will have to re-think hi original statement. This is hot and I don't think it can get any hotter at this point. Watts has to go now and the BOT and the Chancellor knows it. For them not to act will show their indifference to the university and a lack of commitment to the UAB community.
Even though we now they don't care for UAB...now it's in plain sight.
