Why would I be getting German language ads on this board? Strange

Well, when we join a Nazi group online... or put a lot of time and effort toward German swank -- that tends to happen.

Well, I don't visit German sites nor am I a Nazi, so that rules that out.

Must have been some weird Google search or a link I clicked on in the Spin Room that might have made the Google ads think I was German.

Some NIU fans can be very Nazi-like in their aspirations.

All kidding aside, ads are based on your location + your browsing history -- dictated not by this site, but by the ad providers. So here's two reasons:

a) You've been viewing tons of German commercial websites (yes, porn from German sites counts too)

b) You're logging in from Germany or your location's messed up thinking you are for some weird reason via your ISP [Highly highly highly likely not]

c) You're logging in to hide your IP address via Tor browser, which provides not your IP address, but another one via random locations it connects thru -- and spent time browsing connected thru Germany [likely this is your case]
