restructuring of the board

Of the 13 members of the education policy committee, 5 co-sponsored the bill. There are at least 2 other members of the committee that will support the bill (Todd/Robinson). It is my understanding that sponsors can't vote on the bill in committee. It seems we definitely had the votes on the committee to get it to the floor. I wonder if having that many on the committee sponsoring will bite us later. I assume this was done for strategic reasons. Any thoughts?

Anyone know how the other committee members lean? Collins (chairperson)?

I would certainly suspect that is why some on the committee did not sponsor it. I think that Jack knows how to count votes.
