March Madness is on!
FUAB

Actually happy for their fans after having to endure a FB program shutdown.
Ruined my bracket, but happy for UAB.
You know there was going to be a 14-3 "upset" seems to happen nearly every year. Congrats UAB!

ditto
Just a weird thought, but does this win maybe save their spot in CUSA????
Revenge of the Alumni. Congratulations to Jerod Haase!

Bylaws are still bylaws, but I imagine this will be in the back of everyone's heads during the conference meetings in June.
Congrats. I didn't pick UAB to win, but I didn't have Iowa State advancing beyond this game.

How long until the UA BOT shuts down the Blazer Basketball program?

The Bear's son is already putting together the paperwork for another "economic study"....
This Texas team looks terrible. The big 12 may end up being a major let down for The Majors.

Looking that way so far, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. It happens.

Hard to say, in a strange way it shows Watts "intention" to put more money to Basketball to be legit. Does CUSA change it rules about requiring football? My prediction, CUSA gives UAB a home for 2015-16 and until December to get an answer on football otherwise they are out. Gives UAB time to look for another conference if football is not reinstated (IMHO highly likely) and CUSA to recruit a replacement.
So if C-USA kicks out UAB, who gets their tourney credits?

They are giving UAB until the end of June to get their stuff in order before making a decision.

UAB is definitely in the conference next year without football. But probably not the year after without it.

Unless CUSA has a change in heart about non football schools and decides to add Wichita St for BB and MoState all sports. That would really up the hoops profile of CUSA.

due to special circumstances, I bet CUSA lets UAB keep their credits if they leave.
Now Baylor loses. I do remember some folks wanting to argue that the computers were right in saying the big 12 was the best conference in the country. So much for that argument.

Hanging tough vs Butler. Big, strong team.

That Butler injury may end up being the deciding factor.
Alabama-Tuscaloosa needs to hurry up and shut down their BB program before it's too late.
