Thanks GA,

I'm going to see the Tigers the full weekend next after at East Carolina. Should be a great one.
If more people {or posters on this board} would be open minded enough to just give our baseball program a chance by coming to a game just once - THEY WOULD END UP BEING HOOKED - You get the baseball game itself..but..because of the way baseball is we always end up talking a little tiger football, basketball or whatever the topic of the day might be...You will have a good time and you WILL NOT regret your decision to give our baseball coaches and players a little much needed support.
Hope the rain gets out of here early.
Will be there.
Went last night, great time Good crowd. If you haven't taken in a Tiger baseball game you need to.

Very true. My wife now enjoys it as much as I do. Also very affordable.
Interested in going this weekend...do they sell beer at the game?
Best start we've had in a while.

Only at the AutoZone Park games where we will play Ole Miss, Arkansas and Miss State in the coming weeks. However, if you are reasonably discreet, you can bring/consume your own beer in the two outfield decks where there are also grills. Note that the Left Field deck is reserved in advance.

Ticket Prices:

$5 regular @ FedEx Park
$3 seniors and kids @FedEx Park
$10 @ AutoZone Park

There are an awful lot of sports fans in this town who have no idea how much fun they are missing with Tiger baseball (and softball).
You shoud sweep Arkansas, Hogs have lousy pitching for Sundays and mid week games plus very suspect fielding at this point.

Any team which has beaten perennial power LSU is dangerous. Razorback fans are to be commended for the way they support their baseball team - they bring more fans to Memphis than even Ole Miss and Miss State. I hope I live to see the day when Tiger baseball is appreciated and supported by our fans as well.
I second that . What if anything can create the kind of attention to the program to draw more folks in.

Local media pulling their heads out of their asses and giving Tiger baseball the respect and coverage that it deserves would help, but that's not likely to happen until AFTER our crowds improve. It's a classic catch-22, like a young person needing a job in order to gain experience not getting hired because he/she does not have any. It will probably take a trip to the CWS in Omaha first.
