so my cousin works for Siena College (Albany, NY) and they have an article about some Albany connections to a 14 seed beating a 3 seed (Albany is a 14 seed this year facing 3 seed OK). There is a video of
14 seed Siena over Stanford in '89 and one other that a lot of us remember (our game was played in Albany which I'd forgotten).
Two quotes from that telecast I like:
1 - "Petey Semmoms is for real!"
2 - "Whats kept Old Dominion in this game is their ability to make free throws."
This is going to be a big chalk year for the first round IMO. Just not seeing the strength in lower seeds this time. I do have Eastern Washington winning, but that is my only big early upset.

you never know...right now I have Buffalo over WVU; Woff over ARK; Davidson over Iowa; E Washington over G'town and SF Austin over Utah...all picked using a pencil with an eraser.

nor should anyone. I only posted b/c there was a video of ODU's win over villanova. personally I don't get tired of watching that.
Yah I apparently forgot to finish typing before pressing post reply. After my initial statement should have been ", but a very interesting connection". I always enjoy when people bring up random connections like that in sports or weird trends that you don't think can happen by pure chance.
