Wofford gets a 12th seed. Curious, because my memory is not what it used to be, as to what our highest seed ever was?

The bitter, petty part of me hopes Wofford gets annihilated.

The a-sun got the dreaded play in game.

Highest seed we ever got was a 10 in 1991. We played #7 Iowa that year.

I don't think they can hang with Arkansas. I think we once got a 10 seed vs. Iowa.

The ASUN finished the regular season 30th in RPI. SoCon is 23rd. Wasn't the SoCon around 16th or 17th when we left.

Yeah we got screwed that year, Talford getting hurt caused us to drop to a 10 seed. Still almost and should have beaten Iowa.

If Wofford wins, the entire league including ETSU gets money, right? If so, I hope Wofford wins. It also brings more prestige to the conference.

12 seed not bad for SoCon. I will pull for Wofford because they're in our conference.

I have Wofford beating Arkansas and UNC to go to the Sweet Sixteen. Also my team Purdue is pretty much screwed, we're probably playing Kentucky in 3rd round if we get there.

Wofford's strong suit is their balance, but I don't know what they'll do with that Bobby Portis - that guy is a MAN.

Just a quick look --- Wofford has a higher seed than representatives from CAA, Big South, OVC, Sun Belt, A-Sun, and others.

WOW...It was only one win, but Wofford's victory over NC State helped their seeding I suspect.

Yes. That's why the play in game can actually be a good thing. It counts the same as far as NCAA credits as winning in the "2nd" round.
Basically if UNF wins, then the A-Sun will have three years worth of NCAA credits from wins in the tournament.

I see wofford with the upset in their first game, but forget getting past UNC after that.

Yeah no way they beat UNC in my opinion. Maybe Arkansas.

Davidson actually got a 10 in 2008. Remember that was the year they made the run to the elite 8 with Curry.
