I said at the beginning of the year, when all the gloom-and-doomers were constantly claiming the AAC was a 1-bid league, that we (AAC) would get 3 bids
minimum. I still stand by that.
3 bids:
SMU: 6 seed
UC: 9 seed
Temple/UConn: 11/12 seed
Tulsa is a 2 seed in the NIT. I think the auto bids and the struggles down the stretch doom Memphis.
I think if UConn wins, there is a solid chance they steal Temple's bid. I don't have much faith in the committee as you can see. Basing some of this off last year's screw job.
I love knowing we are in this year. Knock on wood no shafting from the committee
As for the rest of the field...
1 seeds: UK, Villanova, Wisconsin (assuming they win today), Virginia
1 team is going to get left out that's a shock. It could be temple, but I'm thinking it's going to be ole miss.
I'm not going to think we are in until the committee says it, I am feeling very shaky right now

I kind of think this too. I month ago I would have called myself crazy because I thought we would only get two.
Memphis won't make the NIT. Tulsa and UCONN would make it if they don't get into the dance.
