I think each school gets some tickets for students to attend the NCAA games.

If there are still any football players in school, those should be the students to go, and UAB should foot the bill.
Cosign.
As well as rifle and bowling too.
Totally Agree.
LOL.

I mean, it is a great idea...but "UAB" isn't going to do a damn thing.

This pains me to say but i agree with you.Bless my soul.
As far as Watts is concerned, those teams are dead.

Only people with hearts would take up this idea. Watts is Dr. Death. He has no heart.

This is probably something the Athletic department could do without anyone in administration knowing until they saw them on TV
Agreed MB

No way Shannon Ealy spends that much unbudgeted money without it being on Allen Bolton's radar.
That's a fantastic idea. It'd be really big if something like that could be accomplished.
Serious question: Since Ray Watts ended football, does that mean there is no longer a barrier to an "extra benefit" from boosters to football players? Like, a basketball ticket and travel? Since, officially, we have no football players? (We still have rifle and bowling until the end of this semester.)
The fact that they are still on scholarship might be a barrier.

How so? Is the NCAA going to ban the football program from TV? From a Bowl game? Dock us scholarships?

I don't know. I said it might be a problem.
