Go look at the CUSA board. Everybody but MIddle Tn fans are having a fit about who are in the finals. Apparently neither of us have a chance to win a game in the NCAA where ODU, UTEP and LT would advance. Also complaining that apparently, UAB is the first team in the history of conference tournaments to have a home court advantage.
What a bunch of crybabies.

I was taking a break from studying not too long ago and figured I'd visit the conference forums. I expected people to be salty, but damn. No disrespect, but the argument that the losing teams would fare better in the NCAA tournament when they just lost in the conference tournament is ridiculous to me.
You don't bullcrap your way through the season & then all of a sudden figure out a way to do well in the NCAA tournament.
All the teams that have lost in the tournament aren't going anywhere due to the regular season & conference tournament.
Both that remain have a chance to do something in the tournament.
Making the tournament would be a great accomplishment for either, winning a game in the NCAA tournament would be nice, but I don't think anyone in the league would be expected to win a tourney game.
We sure made a lot of trips to Memphis, El Paso, and Tulsa....
I realize the tournament is on Birmingham, but I don't consider the BJCC our home. Before this tourney, we haven't played a game there in I don't know when.
Exactly. If I'm not mistaken all of those tournaments were played on the host teams home court, I know Memphis and UTEP were at least.

It's funny that UAB and MT are playing for a bid tomorrow and normally their fans would be trashing each other. But on the CUSA board, they seem to have teamed up against all the losing fans.
Aside from one Marshall fan, I feel that our fanbase has been pretty good.
I don't know what in the hell is up with the former Sun Belt folks.

I think it's hilarious. They complain about attendance at first. Now they complain about home court advantage. Some now say a neutral court should be the goal. Well that's good. What city is going to bid on a tournament where so few fans travel? WKU were the best to travel followed by MTSU and La Tech. But without a home crowd you would not sell the tickets needed to support the tournament.
I would support a rotation that included Birmingham but not a neutral site hosting.
A neutral sight would be empty...at least that way, many teams would feel like they're playing in front of their home crowds ?
