Wolo asked him if was going to dedicate himself to basketball this summer. He said he didn't know yet.

That's awesome with a capital A. He's not being mindful. Let Greg Grabber get a holt of him.

hell.. he almost sounded like he may not even return. Sounded like he couldn't care less.
Pass the Funyuns and the Xbox controller. Basketball season is over.

Are you kidding? Him showing up as the Pillsbury doughboy probably cost us 3-4 games this year...... If that's a real quote then it certainly isn't the right answer.

Which underscores the confusion as to why not develop Pookie instead of letting DJ KJ have the reigns for next year.

Tough to be positive about such a mediocre team.

I agree completely. Cunningham and Broddie running the point with four top 50 players on your frontline.

Here's a positive:
Mediocre is better than a BAD team.
A BAD team is better than NO team.
It is better to have loved and lost than to not have loved at all.

Get it?
Got it?
GOOD!

Maybe the coaching staff doesn't think Pookie is any better than KJ?

Perhaps not as Pookie is as a frosh vs. a guy who is 22 and a junior. But if this season was going to be in the crapper, why not turn the keys over to the future (3 more years vs. 1 more).

I guess its a fair question but I just have to assume the staff sees Pookie everyday at practice and knows what he can and can't bring to this team and they still choose to play KJ. I just can't fathom Josh seeing Pookie playing well or showing potential in practice and just refusing to play him over KJ for some random reason.

Well, the crazy part (which again gives me very little confidence in the coach) is that Pookie goes from STARTING, then has (literally) a bad three minutes at the end of the 1st Tulane game and doesn't play more than 10 minutes in 13 of the final 19 games.

That kind of stuff is incomprehensible.

Yeah, it can be tough to figure out when we're all standing on the outside and I have def been yelling WTF at certain times this season. I just don't see Josh not playing Pookie for some reason other than Josh doesn't think he makes us any better.
