If there was/is a more success MAC coach, I'd like to know who he/she is.

Bob had a dynasty at EMU in T&F / Cross Country.

Well deserved! Great choice!02-13-banana
Great choice. He was a great coach. I had the pleasure of getting to know his son working at EMU. Both good men and this is a very well deserved honor.
Bob Parks is a legend.

Absolutely a legend.
If there ever was a EMU coach that deserved this honor, Bob Parks would be that person.
Parks learned his trade as an assistant at WMU under the legendary George Dales.

I got to know both Bob and his daughter, Sue, as well as his long time assistant, Al Pingle, while I was at EMU.

This was during the hey day of long distance and marathon running in the U.S. when runners like Bill Rogers, Frank Shorter, etc. dominated within the U.S. but also on the world stage, e.g., Olympics.

Bob Parks will be honored on 9/5/15 in conjunction with the ODU FB game.
Sounds like this uniforms will be worn for the game, inspired by the EMU track uniforms.

As I read the flyer, those jerseys will be available for sale ($200).

Who wants to buy the jersey of a 325 lb. lineman? Who could wear it?

Should be interesting to see the color combination on the field: gray turf, green, yellow... (I think the yellow will really help as it is a vibrant color).
Back in the 70s the football team had uniforms that resembled the Green Bay Packers. Instead of a G shaped like a football on their helmet, it was an e.

The EMU track team still has yellow in their uniforms. I'm not sure how exactly it started, if they used it first or if it was the football team.

Bob Parks was an assistant at WMU before becomming the head coach at EMU. He has said many times what a shame it is that WMU has dropped mens's T&F and CC. They won one or two national titles in CC back in the 50s.

Attached, if it worked, is the old EMU unis from I believe 1976. In those days, photographers used black and white film to get faster 'speed' for things like athletic events where motion is a big consideration.
WMU won back-to-back NCAA Cross Country championships in 1964-65.

EMU started wearing Green and Gold Football unis (including Green Bay Gold helmets) under Dan Boisture around 1967.

Helmets went back to Green and White after George Mans' two years under Ed Chlebek in 1976.
