Might be time to start this thread as programs that haven't made the tournament have begun to fire their coaches.
Big news today: ETSU has fired Murry Bartow after 16-14 season (14-14 against Division 1 opponents), 8-10 conference.
Please tell me Jim Crews ends up in this thread.
Utah State
Nevada
Hawai'i
Illinois-Chicago
Pennsylvania
Holy Cross
Liberty
Southern Illinois-Edwardsville
The Citadel
East Tennessee State
DePaul

Who else do we keep an eye on? Georgia Tech, Bradley, Virginia Military Institute (if Duggar bolts for The Citadel), Oklahoma State, Missouri State, Indiana, Alabama, Texas, San Diego?
Purnell out at DePaul

Has there ever been another coach who overachieved at 4 schools only to flop at his fifth? Makes me think Purnell may have been a victim of a coaching graveyard and could be a good hire elsewhere.
Purnell has been coaching since like the Reagan Administration. He's still looking for his first win in the NCAA tournament. Maybe he'll get it as his next gig. But I doubt it.

Apparently Tom Crean is staying at Indiana, but that might be liable to change if Indiana doesn't make it. As a Purdue fan, I hope he stays since Purdue has won many games against him, and he hasn't beaten them without Cody Zeller.
To this list add these that have already been announced:

Alabama (departing coach Anthony Grant)
George Mason (Paul Hewitt)
San Diego (Bill Grier)

Haha, so Hewitt will get paid by BOTH Georgia Tech and George Mason next season?

Weird how the careers of the national championship game losing coaches from the early 2000s (Davis, Hewitt, Weber) all torpedoed backwards.
Anybody want to pay me for not coaching?

My age must be catching up with me but it seems like most firings typically happen by now. Seems like there are typically more openings. One hire I think that would be great is NCCU Coach going to UNC-Charlotte. Hope that happens for him because whoever gets him will be getting a great coach. He could rebuild that program back, still can't believe they ever let Lutz go.

NCCU's Moton's name has come up. However, Will Wade is getting the most press and apparently has an interview Thursday at Charlotte.
UA-Little Rock fired their head coach.

Fordham did too - trying to recruit PJ Carlisimo back to his alma mater
I wish this was us 03-hissyfit....but for some reason our AD just doesn't care about basketball and our freak once-in-a-life-time recruiting class for next season is getting Billy Kennedy yet another pass despite choking away the NCAA this year and 4 years of craptatsic suckitude

Apparently Jeff Capel in the mix with Charlotte. Kind of convenient given Duke's using Charlotte's practice facility during the NCAA first round. If so, Charlotte will have to open it's wallet more so than ever before. This is getting interesting.
I think rick barnes gets fired. If dayton beats OU, sure that will help miller get some traction with texas.
Mississippi State fired Rick Ray.

Reportedly, Ben Howland is a leading candidate there -- but he's flirted with a few other jobs and walked away because he thought he could do better.

Think Sendek is on borrow time at Az St.

I hope he makes it another year, if John Cooper and Sendek get fired next year then I'd love to see Herb return to Oxford if he's sentimental enough to want to return.
Will Wade turned Charlotte down
