At some point, we'll have to just accept that this season was a crapshoot following the biggest turd of all, Murry Bartow. To help us move on, I've compiled my Top 10 Excuses of the Year, in the eyes of the big turd:

10. Lester Wilson's defense
9. Not enough shots for Jalen Riley
8. Rembert got the flu
7. Alex Bates didn't average a double-double as expected
6. Just couldn't find minutes for Banks his Freshman year prior
5. Banks played TOO MANY minutes this year, couldn't get enough guards in as a result
4. Tommy Williams was not actually a center. Let the team down!
3. Jalen Riley didn't start enough times.
2. Promised the focus would be defense and rebounding, never said anything about winning!
1. It's tough to win on the road.

As a follow-up, "Fricken' fans!"

Any others??
My personal favorite: "The other team is trying to win, too, that's why it's hard to win."
Desonta Bradford is going to be a heckuva player, but we'll just have to wait for that.

Now this is funny! The only thing missing is the word "obviously" before each excuse.
