Furman came into the SoCon tournament with a 8-21 record and 10 seed.
They defeated The Citadel (11-19) 73-56 in the first round.
Defeated Chattanooga (22-10) 69-67 in the quarterfinal.
Defeated Mercer (18-14) 52-49 in the semi-final.
And almost knocked off a 28-7 Wofford team in the championship game a while ago.
Just goes to show anything can happen in conference tournaments, and our team can easily escape with the crown. Also, the home court advantage will help tremendously. We have a great chance.
