For taking on an awesome responsibility in a bad situation and doing an awesome job. I really admired his demeanor on the sideline and he is probably a phone call away from becoming a millionaire.
A veteran bench coach with previous head coaching experience.

Wild concept.
Was also nice to see Coach Cronin take the floor on Sunday to acknowledge his seniors. Very moving.
I bet he gets some offers...

Yes...good stuff.
He did a phenomenal job, and he's not done, yet. If Cronin has plans to return next season and he's still an assistant this April, I'll be surprised.

Nice thread. Thanks Tigers. Davis really has done a terrific job. I'm sure he'll get offers after the season. It depends on what he's looking to do. He and Cronin are tight and he's been with Cronin his whole tenure at UC.
Thing about Davis that many don't know is that he resigned the Furman HC gig after 6 years there to become Cronin's assistant. Granted, it was Furman and this was a pay raise. He's our main recruiter, too. We hope he gets a shot at a quality opportunity but it will be tough to replace him. He shares a brain with Mick.

I was wondering if he was a recruiter.

Wild concept.

If, God forbid, Josh had an illness I'm sure Schwartz could step in a do just as good of a job as Davis did. 03-lmfao
