Is there any way we could be knocked out of the tournament by the results of today's games?

No, that is why the headline said we CLINCHED a berth in the tournament.

I believe in that old axiom, "Believe nothing of what you read, and one half of what you see".

Especially if it's written by Wally small, and/or if it's printed in the Democrap paper.
Possibly a good point!

Everything went our way Thursday, except our game.
USA beat ASU
GaSt beat Monroe
Either of those 2 results would have put us in.
AppSt beat Texas. That and a ULM win over Texas State today would have put us in.
We did our very best to try to be eliminated from the tournament by losing the last two games, and we couldn't even accomplish that due to the dominos falling just right to allow us to sneak in the back door. In a movie, we would go ahead and win the tournament and go to the NCAA, but I just don't see that happening. Is it better for the program to lose the first game and go home, or win a game, or even two, and go home? If we lose the first game, it's possible a change will be made. If we win a game or two, there is always the possibility someone will believe it's better to allow the coach one more year to coach the players coming back, than if we go out immediately. Of course we could lose the first game, and it will make absolutely no difference at all. Nothing changes. And that will make some folks happy since many people just don't like change. So our situation is like this. The Farmers want rain, the golfers want sunshine. Someone is always happy and someone is always unhappy, no matter what occurs.

We got into the tournament by winning 5 of 6 games, including beating the league champ. The one loss was to the second place team, in overtime, after a silly foul on a 3 point shot. This team came through when they needed to. We basically clinched the tourney spot before the last 2 games- we needed a crazy combination of results, that had less than a 5% chance of occurring, to not make the tourney.

Sunshine in the morning, rain in the afternoon, and then sunshine again and warm at night so the course is dry the next morning.04-cheers

I don't know what kind of golfer you are, but I know you aren't a farmer. The afternoon rain would keep you from plowing.
To be honest, never been a farmer, and not much of a golfer anymore. Age has taken care of that.
