and how their perimeter defenders can press and go for steals because they know they have those big shot blockers guarding the rim, so if someone gets by them, in most cases they won't be able to score around the basket because of those intimidating big men.
That's one of our problems, especially with James White out. We have no one who is tall, quick, and can jump out of the gym blocking shots if someone gets past our guards, so our guards have to play more defensively and help out inside instead of being able to free wheel it and go for broke without worrying. Don't know if we'll ever be able to recruit those kind of players. This staff obviously hasn't been able to do it.
