7-11 TX ST Vs 7-11 App in Boone. Normally, in a game such as this I'd favor the home team by a couple. However, in this instance, I'd like to believe that we're actually playin' for more than App is . . . . . Gimme Bobcats in a tight one . . .
Interesting note about Thursday's games. Four of the Five Matchups this week are teams that played each other last on December 30...the first day of SBC play. Texas State/App State is the only one that didnt play that day. App had a Bye that day.
GS officials are saying that tickets for the GS/Ga. State game Saturday in Atlanta are in short supply. I would assume Ga. State will have a good crowd and I think GS will bring probably as many as we have tickets to sell. If we both win Thursday night it will be for the #1 seed.

I was thinking the opposite as Georgia State Athletics called me yesterday trying to get me to buy tickets. When I said that I am Southern Alumnus, she said "you can still come root on your school".
That would be fine with me if GS outnumbers Ga. State fans.

I'll go ahead and publicly admit that I won't be at the game Saturday. I have to go to Rome for an all-day event. So while I'm doing nothing to help the situation, it would certainly pain me if there are more Eagles than Panthers in the stands. I doubt that'll happen this time around, though.
Win 1 and we go to New Orleans regardless of what anyone else does. Would like to get it Thursday and not have so much possible riding on the ULM game.

Frank Eaves won't score 30 like he did last time with Wes Davis back from injury. Hopefully we can continue to shoot decently.

ULM held Frank under 30 on Saturday. Terrible game, only had 28.

Aint gonna happen. We already have more student tickets picked up than southern has tickets available to them.

Southern fans are capable of buying General Admission tickets through Ticketmaster.

I bought mine through there.

Remember when they thought we wouldn't have a crowd at the football game because we had 4,500 allotted?

Yeah, this aint football is it. Even if you get all the GA tickets, the season ticket holders plus student section i more than you could have.

We sold out the Sports Arena last season against Western Kentucky in the final game, and that was without any of their fans helping. Even if a single southern fan didn't show up, that arena would be sold out.

If you guys play anything like you did against us, well, you'll beat anyone. I still don't know what the hell. You guys could have scored from anywhere.

+1

Just get ready for the Ryan Harrow show. I'm foreseeing a big week from him, who should be the Conference POY by the way.
The beauty is that even if both Georgia schools lose tomorrow night, the stakes remain just as high by the time we play on Saturday.

I really want to win in Monroe, though. Hope the team isn't looking ahead to the weekend at all.

Ahh... good times. 04-cheers
Any idea if South Alabama has left for Jonesboro yet? They are now calling for 8 inches of sleet and snow. If they are not here soon, they may not get here.

I heard earlier today that they did leave early to avoid the weather.
