I'm watching that game & pulling for RB's. Sure would like to see RB's & Trojan Women play each other in NCAA women's Tournament.

lady swine are getting killed, down 22 or so. I think they will be the 9 seed and play the 8 seed (Missouri or Ole Miss?). If they win I suppose I'll have to go watch my Gamecocks knock them out of the tourney on Friday at noon. RBL, will you be there? We actually have friends coming in from SC for the tourney. I planned on go to the weekend games, but the Friday opener might be quite fun now.

RBL, you need to pull the men through so I don't have to sweat through Saturday night. My wife was wondering why you guys didn't go to Arlington.

Sorry to hear about the illness. Can't do much about the weather. Looks like the lady pigs could finish anywhere from 9 through 12th depending on results later today and tie-breakers. Looks as confusing as the men's Sun Belt standings.

NIT matchup with AState looks like a more likely possibility, but of course UAF will do whatever is humanly possible to avoid that from happening.
Now why would the ever do that?

Because the last time they played in the WNIT, ASU had an overflow crowd at the Convo and beat their butts.

Pigs would pay the NIT to send us to Siberia for a first round game.

Well...lets see here...

It happened once before. They goofed and didnt outbid us and had to come to Jonesboro. They came in assuming tons of Razorback fans would be there to cheer them on, and instead found 10,750 fans who hated their guts, and 50 Razorback fans. We flew the state flag upside down for the game as a protest of their use of it. We chanted some really mean things at Susie Gardner (Wright Waters wanted UALR to hire her instead of Joe Foley you know) made their lives altogether uncomfortable, and beat them by like 20 points.

Oh, and a group of ASU fans went out and bought a Pig hat and publicly urinated on it outside the arena.

As I said, they'll pay the WNIT to send us to Siberia before it's ever allowed to happen again.
Don't know if they still bid for home games or not, but we'd have to play in Fayetteville because I'm guess we couldn't out big Philander Smith or Shorter College for a home game. And if we could, there would be more pig fans there than Trojan fans. They'd have about 4,000 and maybe we'd have the other five or six hundred. It'd be like a home game for them. And Conque would have to really hustle to get us a crowd of 1,500 for the women.

They wouldnt play you anyway. Your women's team got sent to California several years back whenever the Pigs and every other team got regional games. Remember that?

Remember it well. We got sent to somewhere in the upper Northwest of the country, when we could have driven to Fayetteville in 2 to 3 hours. Some coincidence, huh? Just don't know how they have the power to do that. I guess the WNIT is a private, pay tournament, and thus money talks.

Looks like I'll get my wish. Gamecocks will knock the lady swine out of the Southeast Conference Tourney on Friday. Only problem will come on Thursday. Do I actually root for the swine to beat Ole Miss? Probably not. But if they win, Friday should be fun.
