I think that's the first time I've seen Talley get in someone's face.
Bond trying to do too much with the ball. Get rid of it.

The oaf on BSU just stuck his arm out as Talley was going by him. Dirty. I don't blame talley for being mad, but getting in that dude's face won't do much. Unless big Mike Samuels was right behind him.
MIA trails by 8 in the 2nd half. NIU also trails early (1st half).
Lead cut down to 4. I'm getting sick of this.
I don't think it's crazy to predict Lee to lead the MAC in scoring next season. His big games are becoming more and more common.

But that easier to do with Talley and Ward as scoring threats. Who outside of Lee is a consistent scoring threat next year?
Absolutely. I'm so thankful we've got him for two more years. He'll turn a game around himself. God knows where we'd be without Lee this year.

that's a good question. Lee is such a dynamic scorer who can get his own regardless, but it will definitely be more difficult unless we get some offensive help in April. I was hoping Price would help fill the offensive void, but i don't see that happening.
Tim Bond, Jodan Price, and Nazione should do nothing but improve next year. I think thats a solid supporting cast.

He creates his own offense better than most players in the conference. I honestly don't think it matters too much who our supporting cast is. Karrington hasn't been a consistent scoring threat at all this year, actually.

I'm not saying we will be better without Karrington and Talley. Quite the opposite actually. It's just that Ray will score a lot next year if he keeps finding consistency.
Tim Bond.
TBD - we have 3 more scholarships to give so there might be another KWard out there somewhere...
Bond has a much higher ceiling than Ward did in my opinion, solely because of his ability to handle the ball and get to the basket. He's gotta cut down on the bad turnovers, but I think that will come with experience. I expect him to take a big leap next year and become more of a consistent scoring threat.

Replacing Talley will be much harder. Not to put too much pressure on Stone, but if he can provide an instant impact, that would be great!

Easier to do a double team on Raven without legitimate scoring threats.
BTW, BSU is not shooting the trey. Treys are our Achilles heel.

Bond hasn't shown me a consistent outside shot-yet.

Do you think anyone's holding back from doubling him this year? there are always 1-2 extra defenders closing in on him once he's within 18 feet. it usually doesn't matter.

We need scoring in the next recruiting class.
Bond makes some great defensive plays and then turns it over. Hopefully more consistent next year.
