I think we average 4,000 at soccer games. That's pretty good support.

SMU was a great program at one point, but we've been going through some rough times lately. As the only men's major college soccer program in Texas, our performance recently is inexcusable.
Here's hoping that Orlando becoming the US soccer capital of the south parlays into good recruiting at UCF
Texas, Florida, and the NE pump out players.

I would say Tulsa is right there amongst the top teams as well.
We had two straight top 20 classes, but our top player transferred. We also had a horrendous season last year. I hope the new stadium helps, because we're going to put a lot of effort into soccer after dropping baseball.

My son played in high level youth soccer for many years. Dallas pumps out a ton of soccer players. The youth leagues here are unbelievable.

I think the UConn and SMU soccer teams have the best tradition in the AAC. UConn has won three nc's (1948, 1981, 2000).
