They talk about the blocking foul and the TF that followed. (9:20 to go in 2nd ) and the foul/travel call/no-call late in the game (17.3 seconds to go ).

I find it interesting that there was no mention from them of the incident in front of the Memphis bench at the start of the TV timeout, after the clock stopped due to ball out of bounds.
There is a forum dedicated to officiating? Lol
They have a thread for every facet of this "abortion" of a conference....that they're going to be left behind in, btw. I see uconn basketball plummeting. Uconn WAS Jim Calhoun. Ollie won a title last year with Calhoun's players. He's got his own this year and they aren't very good. Nothing spectacular coming in next year for them. Us, on the other hand, have sustained success under many different coaches over a 50 year period. We definitely have more history than Uconn. But I'd trade our history for their 4 titles in a heartbeat, though..

We are not Directional Florida or Directional Carolina University. We are not some school in Texas or Louisiana playing D1 basketball in a high school gymnasium. We are not a certain school in Tennessee whose fans believe it's their personal mission to keep the attitudes of rival fans in check.

We are less than 2 years removed from being one of the best programs in college basketball's best conference. If that doesn't do anything for you, then bless your soul.

Quote:let me start by saying I HATE the AAC....despise it. Frankly, would rather be in the A-10.

That said, does everyone realize we are 20-12 in this god-forsaken conference so far? That's a 62.5% winning percentage. Hardly dominating, certainly nothing close to what Gonzaga repeatedly does in its conference. We've yet to beat SMU.....SMU!! And that's with only one year of recruiting saddled with this conference. So as much as it pains me to say it, exactly how are we so head and shoulders above this conference? History only takes you so far. Until we're consistently beating everyone in the conference like red-headed step-children, I think it's hard to argue we don't belong here.

I certainly hope we find a way out soon, but let's keep this in perspective. Yes, we won it all last year....but this year we are looking NIT square in the face and are barely above .500 in an awful conference. Like it or not, sometimes you are the company you keep.

Your f---ing scandal-ridden, won-nothing, community college shouldn't even be allowed inside the border of our state.

Do you know why the Big East never answered the phone when Memphis came begging year after year after year?

Because you're everything that's ever been wrong with college athletics.

Go away.

Why didn't he just say what what's on his mind? UConn bum.

Lucky run last year and I was pulling for you. No more after reading your fan forum.

I thought UConn fans were cool people to associate with on message boards but they are complete d-bags towards Memphis. They were trashing us in football this year and they continue with the thought of our university being a juco. F them

03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao He should tell us how he really feels....don't hold back now 03-lmfao
They (UConn) really have insecure little man syndrome.

Fantastic women's basketball...and really strong men's basketball...which, to their incredible credit, has had phenomenal runs in the NCAA tourney. Instead of embracing that, and recognizing a down season, their balls shrivel and they bash schools like Memphis.

Very odd group of Internet fans.

Be ready for Boatright to challenge the refs the entire game up there next week. They will be begging for fouls, throwing their bodies into defenders hoping for home court block calls, all because of one questionable, but not exactly terrible technical foul call...all but ignoring Brimah's PUNCH...that happened to hit his own player, and then later, his continuous and sometimes egregious offensive push offs, and of which had they been properly called, would have ended the game without the last second three attempt to tie.

Grow up UConn fans. Embrace your great couple of decade success, and stop bashing one of the few other programs in the AAC, along with Cincy and Temple, that bring some additional high profile. Memphis has not won the naional title, but we have a very solid history, you know it, so stop allowing your wee diks to be your voice.

Play in CUSA...where the second most noted program for quite a while was UAB. ACC did not want you, and you chose to play football and leave the Catholic schools. Stop your bitching, support your team and Ollie, and very soon you will be back in NCAA tourney lock land.

Douches.

I guess a better way of putting it would be a LONGER history.
UConn can't help it. They have P5 envy.
