Nick Cattles said he had a HUGE announcement today. Of course I'm praying to the Gods of the air waves he's gonna announce he's moving on. Instead I hear him say Adam Rose is leaving. Adam Rose fills in for Cattles from time to time and is a much much better on air guy. What a let down.
Ugh. Adam is way better. Where's he going?
I heard that Cattles has got a job covering the Patriots

Weekdays, 4-7 pm on ESPN 94.1
I'm thinking about going back to church.

The reason?

Because I already know my own personal hell. It's listening to cattles pimp his Chevy silverado on the air all day, every day, for the rest of eternity.

I repent!!

Isn't that what he already does?

When Adam was recently filling in for Cattles, I had the same thought, that I like him so much better than Cattles. Too bad. I will, actually MISS Adam Rose.

He already does that here.....

Seriously, that few days Nick was on vacation, the show was demonstrably improved. The only time I can listen for more than a few minutes when Cattles is hosting is when he's interviewing someone.
It isn't so much that I think he is the one that grates me while listening to 94.1...

It's that if I listen to him one segment, it's the same thing (nearly the same sentences) some ten minutes later. The next day...same topics.
You guys gotta get over this.

I listened to the ODU coach's show last week--at least the first 50 or so minutes. They asked numerous times for ODU fans to call in and then never played one call that I remember. I would imagine that's because they weren't calling in.

Yet everyone wants more ODU talk? When they ask for people to call in and no one does, why would we think they'll talk more about them during the rest of the week?

It was a taped segment due to the weather...

IMO, it has to do with quality, not ODU coverage. Cattles really only covers national sports and he does not do it well enough to justify a local guy being aired over a syndicated show. Give me the national drive-time show over this garbage any day of the week.

That's my point, if I wanted national sports talk then there's a long list of TV and radio shows that I'm listening to before Cattles.
