Don't see this game with Lipscomb happening with the icy mix that hit the boro this morning and possibly snow to be added on top of that this afternoon and temps forecast to not getting above freezing until Saturday.
Our game on Wednesday against UNO was moved up a couple of hours due to the cold weather. Temps expected to be around 44 degrees at first pitch with 15-25 mph winds blowing in from left field.
I was wondering why the conference website has many of these games listed for midday. I completely forgot about the cold snap y'all are getting. *laughs*
I cover UTSA baseball for Rivals but I will not be able to make the drive to Austin on Tuesday. Luckily the game will be on the Loghorn Network. Much warmer anyway. UTSA will be without their normal mid week starter and will be giving JR-Transfer Aaron Burns the nod. Hopefully, UTSA is able to stun Texas coming off that back and forth winning series vs ULL. The series win did give this UTSA team a lot of confidence.

Go CUSA

So, in other words, the only home runs Wednesday will be by a lefty yanking one or a righty going the opposite way
Is McCarty starting on Wednesday?

Yes and the weather report is looking a little better. Around 52 at first pitch and winds 10-20.
Interested to see how he does. With our weak weekend schedule, we will need to win a few marquee midweek games (not that UNO is a marquee team) if we want to make a run for the postseason. Probably getting ahead of myself.
I don't know if that ODU game will happen
why is Tech's Wednesday game one to watch?
I will be driving up to Austin for Roadrunners vs Longhorns
McNeese beats Tech 4-2

Yeah....I don't think we should quite be talking postseason yet. There really aren't many weekday opportunities either, though. Our only real chances at quality wins (save for Ole Miss x2, State, and Alabama) will come in conference play.

Non-conference play is really just about not incurring a "bad loss."
If we can win the games we are supposed to against this cupcake schedule and win a series over FIU/FAU/Rice/UTSA and some other programs that seem to be doing well, we can get in. Our conference, if we all continue to play well, could be a 4 big league at the end of it.
Rice beats HBU 5-2
Roadrunners 1 - 2 Longhorns 4th inning
Tech is CUSA's punching bag until Goff can get his culture in place
Roadrunners 2 -3 Longhorns 6th inning
Big trap game for Rice today but scraped by Houston Baptist.

We have the Pac 12 the next two weekends - three in Tucson this weekend against U of A and host Stanford for four next weekend.
