Or Clemson at this point.

It's just the first series but it look like Jack has the Tigers in postseason form already. Dropped two of three to WVU for the first home opening series loss since the early 90's. Lack of clutch hitting (3-19 with RISP), a shaky bullpen, defensive lapses (4 errors in 3 games) and a fragile psyche (Team fell apart Sunday after a correctly overturned balk call).
jack·leg - noun (slang): an incompetent, unskillful, or dishonest person.
e.g. "a jackleg baseball coach"

At this point with me he has graduated to another three letter addition to the "Jack"

ND had a good start in Norman, Oklahoma. They beat the Sooners two out of three and also won a single game against SIU.

They play their annual four game Irish Alamo Invitational in San Antonio next weekend before heading to Cary, NC for the annual USA Baseball-Irish Classic the weekend after that.
#11 Louisville won two of three in a tournament down in Orlando. The Cards beat Alabama St and USF, while losing 8-6 to #19 Cal State Fullerton on Sunday.

ND opens up ACC action at Georgia Tech next weekend.

Nope -- not the post season yet. You're doomed.
Why does the ACC have a bye week during the conference portion of the season? Has it always been that way? Reason I ask is because our coach mentioned we normally have always started conference play a week later. 6-10 inches of snow going to hit Louisvile on Wen/Thursday and Miami games scheduled Fri, Sat, and Sun.

It's the way the schedule works out with the number of teams we have and it is different for each team. Louisville's "bye" weekend series is 4/24-4/26. Clemson's is 5/8-5/10. FSU's is 5/1-5/3.
Opening Weekend of conference play:

-Florida St sweeps Boston College

Took 2 of 3:
-#3 Virginia over Pittsburgh
-#20 Louisville over #19 Miami
-Duke over #11 North Carolina
-Georgia Tech over Notre Dame
-NC State over Clemson
-Wake Forest over Virginia Tech
Enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of baseball at NC State yesterday. Watched an amazing defensive performance by the Wolfpack (6 double plays on the day!) combined with some timely hitting. State won 14-6.
