Louisiana makes two huge hires to round out the football staff. I was absolutely shocked by the additions to the staff. Names will likely be released after Mardi Gras!
I feel like we're about to be Avatar'd by names that will not live up to the hype, but will be good in their own right and serve the cajuns well.

Let's just say that at least on of the two coaches are well over our level of coaching hires. They have been at the pinnacle of collegiate football.
What position is this? I didn't think there were any major coaching vacancies at UL.

Lost the DC last week who was hired by the Saints.

Our DC left for a job with the saints and we were in need of a DL coach.

Brian Van Gorder, Charlie Weiss, Gene Chizik, Ed Orgeron? Would be great if you guys could have got a few of those guys to jump ship over to UL-L
Some possible "big time" names: Mac Brown, LSU's entire defensive staff, Gene Chizic (may have taken job at UNC, not %100 on that).
I love these threads.

Hey guys. We are about to make a big hire but I can't say who right now. Either share or don't post.

And I really hope you guys get Brian van.... I just can't spell out the rest of his name.
I really hope you got Brian Van Gorder as DC. He needs to have a lot of administrative and leadership responsibilities.

I am almost 100% certain it will be released on Wed. I will not bust my source, but some of yall are not far off.

He has great experience from dozens of teams. ULL should definitely poach him from ND.
I'm gonna go with ellis johnson
Rex Ryan and Bear Bryant from beyond the grave are my guesses.

Rex died?
ULM just lost their DC to memphis
Couple of assistants of ours turned down other offers a couple weeks ago, looks like we're going to retain the entire staff.

Do you happen to know what offers they were, and who they were to?

No one really knows.

Cue the Price is Right losing horns, and that would be my reaction if that were true.
