If you don't have tickets to the sold-out Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout, then you can watch the annual men's basketball showdown between Cincinnati and Xavier on ESPN2.
Cincinnati announced today that the Feb. 18 rivalry game - listed all season on schedules as ESPN or ESPN2 - will be on the latter channel. The game tips off at 7 p.m. at Fifth Third Arena. It will have two radio broadcasts: 700-WLW and 55KRC.
The universities announced in May that the Shootout would return to campus sites, starting at UC, in a 10-year agreement. The "Shootout" name was also restored.
The game was called the "Crosstown Classic" and played for two years at neutral-site US Bank Arena after the 2011 brawl at Cintas Center.
This year's match-up pits Xavier (16-9, 7-6 Big East) and UC (17-7, 8-4 American) against one another deep in their conference seasons. As of today, the Bearcats are ranked 28th in the NCAA Daily RPI. Xavier is 32nd.
