I think we should just give it time. I really admire what Coach Pastner stands for.

I would give some of you history buffs a little more weight if you actually showed me the rings. No coach in our history has ever won a national championship. Ever!!!
I think in order to win an actual championship we have to put our trust in someone like Coach Pastner.... Sure we could probably hire some SEC throw back who will get us to the second week of the NCAAs, but none of those guys are actually going to EVER win a title for Memphis.
I want a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!! I can envision Pastner winning one.
I think a lot of you are old and jealous of a young, successful man. You pound on Josh because you don't like a younger man making that much money. Josh is from my generation. I know you old people have rigged the laws so you get all the money in Social Security Checks. You think you earned your social security check, but heaven forbid Pastner makes that much money.....

It's sort of a matter of faith, but it is also a matter of my own human experience....
You think Pastner is horrible.... I have total faith in him .... I just do .....
And I think that a lot of this bitterness about him has been built up and comes from a pretty ugly place... Maybe you should put down the bottle about all your cynicsm about Coach Pastner. Maybe you should have a little faith and patience.....

There is something about him that makes me believe that he can do it....
I actually think that many of you would hate to see that day ....
I would prefer to be wrong and we will have to agree to disagree. I have no faith he can do it and I have tried, but the evidence against is much stronger than the evidence for...but if blind faith is your thing more power to you. I see something else entirely.

I have my own opinion why many posters here dislike Josh, but I think it would be politically incorrect to say it.
